The Victorian Era was a time in which some of the most beautiful art and architecture were crafted. Ossining was no exception to this movement. Voted one of the most architecturally beautiful towns by Westchester Magazine in 2012, Ossining is a virtual trove of Victorian architecture. Join us and tour some of the most elegant and beautiful houses in Ossining, many of which are on the National Register of Historic Places.
The Ossining Bicentennial Committee is pleased to announce that The Ossining Story: A Bicentennial Celebration 1813–2013 is now available for purchase. This special-edition souvenir journal commemorates Ossining’s 200th birthday, honoring its past and present. Ossining became the first incorporated village in Westchester County in 1813, when it was still known as Sing Sing.
